Best and Worst Agent & Editor Advice: Part One

Claire Cook: Once a few novels in, as I began writing my next book I found myself really wanting to show everybody what I was capable of doing. Complicated. Literary. Deeeeep. When I sent some early pages to my then editor, Pam Dorman, she said, “Claire, I can get this kind of stuff anywhere.
